This vessel is in great condition and has been fully upgraded and well maintained over the last 20 years. My step father brought her down from Long Island in 2003 and she has been berthed in the same marina in North Beach, MD. Since his passing she was sold to close neighbor who lovingly maintained and took care of her, then re-purchased by our family of 5 in 2021. We have had many adventures up and down the Chesapeake and now with teenagers need more space and would like to explore beyond the bay.

Some of the upgrades through out the years: Original engine 11 hp Yanmar diesel was replaced in 2005 for new Beta Marine 20hp diesel making this boat more reliable and better fuel efficient than ever before. Has Biminy with Dodger and extra canvases to connect and partially enclose the cockpit. The whole helm station was custom made for this boat. Under the V-berth is the standard 25 gallon water tank and there was added 30 gallon tank under the seating on the starboard side of the dinette area for additional capacity.

All the Ac and DC electrical wiring, panels, boxes were fully replaced and upgraded. The Ericson 28+ is organized specifically to permit 2 couples to cruise in rare privacy, without forcing either to sleep atop the dining table. There are two doubles - one in the bow, the other in the stern - separated by the entire main salon. Parents cruising with kids will appreciate these convenience. Her interior offers 6'2" headroom, and teak throughout. All port lights were upgraded. Has fireplace-Newport by Dickinson wood burning, mounted on bulkhead between head and main salon..mounted on a 2" concrete and tile.
