Originally from Eastern Shore of Maryland, Kim grew up boating with her family on the rivers and waterways of the Chesapeake Bay. After moving to California in her early 20's, she managed Harbor Sailboats for 6 years. After earning her ASA Bareboat certification, she celebrated by skippering a Lagoon 42 catamaran with her family in the islands of Tahiti. After her son was born, she decided to start her own web design business which she ran for over 20 years.  In 2015, she was ready to return to the water where she joined her old friend and colleague, Kurt Jerman, to help him with his catamaran charter company, West Coast Multihulls. Soon after that, she assisted Kurt with yacht sales through Denison.  After learning the business, Kim secured h
